I have a little exciting news... USCIS got our application, cashed our check, we got notice of action so now the 90 day clock is ticking. But what's even more exciting we got news from our case worker at WACAP that "....NBC has sped up the processing a little bit recently. They have hired some new folks and processed twice as many applications this month as they had last month...."
This could mean if - knock on wood - all goes well it may not be September after all for us to travel it could be August or even better July. In which case there is still a chance that we get to celebrate our birthdays with our son.
I am also very excited to have sent out his first package and just wish I would know how he reacts to the fact that he has found his family. I pray that he will be as excited about this then we are.

Yes I am so excited, I know our application was at least received at the immigration office because ok and this is the not so exciting part they cashed the check for the fee. But hey this is the confirmation I have waited for now for the wait to get the receipt then the fingerprint appt. and then more waiting baby steps right??

Hey well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Weekend. We are excited to say that the quest for that I800A has begun and we are grateful that the CCAA has granted us a DTC extension given the long wait times for the I800A approval. So now we have till March 5th to get it all done… well our Dossier is all done just waiting for this one singel piece.... come on I800A.
I also have Shawn’s package ready to go and my very dear friend in China was so kind and get our letter translated for Shawn to be added to the package. Soon he will learn that he has a family waiting and I have to learn patience once again to get thru the wait and the remaining months before we can travel, which seems so so far away! There is much to be grateful for that we have gottent his far so quickly already!
